Facilities

School Transport

The Namakkal Teachers Vidhyaashram Matric Higher Secondary School provides safe and reliable transportation facilities for students commuting to and fro the school. The transport service is organized with utmost care, keeping in mind the safety, punctuality, and discipline of students. To ensure smooth operations, students and parents are expected to strictly adhere to the following transport guidelines:

  • Parents must escort their children to and from the bus stop, ensuring the child is present at least 10 minutes before the expected arrival time. The bus will not wait for latecomers under any circumstances.
  • Parents must not enter into any argument or engage in personal requests with the bus driver or conductor. Any issues or concerns must be directed to the Transport In-charge.
  • Parents should refrain from tipping the driver or conductor or using their services for personal errands.
  • In case of a change in the child’s regular bus route or transport mode, an advance written request must be submitted to the Principal or Transport In-charge.
  • Transport service cannot be discontinued in the middle of the academic year unless a minimum one-month prior notice is submitted, citing valid reasons.

  • Students must wait away from the main road until the bus arrives and approach the vehicle only after it has come to a complete stop.
  • Only the front door of the bus is authorized for entry and exit.
  • Enter and alight in an orderly manner and only when the bus has completely stopped.
  • No student should lean out of the windows or move around inside the bus while it is in motion.
  • No seat reservations are allowed. Students must take available seats and follow seating instructions given by the bus monitor or conductor.
  • Throwing objects in or out of the bus is strictly prohibited.
  • All students must follow the instructions given by the bus driver, conductor, or student bus monitor without exception.
  • Any student found misbehaving, causing disturbance, or damaging bus fittings will face disciplinary action and may be debarred from using the transport facility.
